Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Shopify Developer based in Noida. The Shopify Developer will be responsible for developing and customizing Shopify themes, integrating third-party applications, and ensuring the performance and optimization of e-commerce websites. The role includes collaboration with cross-functional teams, troubleshooting technical issues, implementing responsive designs, and staying updated with the latest Shopify and e-commerce trends. The candidate will play a critical role in enhancing online customer experiences for retail brands.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify themes based on business requirements.
• Build and optimize Shopify stores, ensuring high performance, speed, and scalability.
• Integrate third-party apps, payment gateways, APIs, and custom functionalities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve website bugs, technical issues, and performance bottlenecks.
• Implement responsive designs ensuring seamless user experience across devices.
• Collaborate with design, marketing, and product teams to execute new features and campaigns.
• Optimize website performance for SEO, page speed, and conversion rate improvements.
• Conduct regular website audits, testing, and quality assurance.
• Manage code versioning and maintain proper documentation.
• Stay updated with Shopify updates, e-commerce trends, and emerging technologies.
• Ensure website security, data protection, and compliance with best practices.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Shopify development, including theme customization, app integrations, and Liquid template language.
• Strong front-end development skills, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design.
• Experience in debugging, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues to enhance website performance.
• Knowledge of e-commerce best practices, user experience (UX) design, and digital commerce strategies.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Understanding of SEO principles and familiarity with analytics tools is a plus.
• Previous experience with Shopify Plus and additional programming languages like React or Angular is beneficial.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
