Requirement Overview

We're looking for a *Shopify Developer (Contract / Freelance)* to help build the ecommerce website for *Continua Creation*, a premium women's apparel brand focused on calm, everyday luxury in natural fabrics.

This role is best suited for someone who enjoys *clean, thoughtful ecommerce builds* rather than heavy marketing-driven sites.

The project will follow a *founder-led architecture model, where the overall UX structure, design direction, and brand positioning are defined internally, and the developer focuses on **high-quality implementation and technical execution*.

Role Description

You will work closely with the founder to implement the Shopify store structure and bring the website blueprint to life.

This includes:

* Shopify theme setup and configuration

* Building homepage sections according to provided layout

* Implementing product page (PDP) structure

* Shopify navigation and collection setup

* Styling adjustments (CSS / Liquid)

* Image and asset integration

* Mobile optimization

* Performance optimization

* Testing checkout flow before launch

The role requires someone who is comfortable *executing clearly defined designs while also contributing thoughtful UI suggestions when necessary*.

Qualifications

* 3–5 years experience with Shopify development

* Strong understanding of Shopify themes and Liquid

* Comfortable customizing sections and layouts

* Good CSS / responsive design skills

* Experience building *fashion or lifestyle ecommerce stores* preferred

* Strong attention to visual detail and spacing

* Ability to maintain clean, maintainable code

* Comfortable working in a collaborative, founder-led environment
