Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Shopify Developer role located in Surat. The responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining Shopify websites, implementing and customizing themes, performing integrations, and optimizing user experience. The role also involves troubleshooting technical issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring quality control throughout the development process.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Shopify development, including custom themes and plugins
- Experience with front-end development tools and technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid
- Familiarity with web design principles, UI/UX design, and responsive frameworks like Bootstrap
- Ability to troubleshoot coding issues and perform debugging effectively
- Experience with integrating third-party apps and APIs into Shopify stores
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Additional experience with SEO or digital marketing strategies is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify themes using Liquid
- Convert Figma / XD / PSD designs into responsive Shopify sections
- Customize Shopify templates, sections, and snippets
- Implement and customize Shopify apps (free & paid)
- Optimize website performance, speed, and SEO basics
- Fix bugs and provide ongoing support and maintenance
- Ensure cross-browser and mobile responsiveness
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines
Required Skills:
- 1 - 4 year experience required
- Strong experience with Shopify & Shopify Plus
- Proficiency in Shopify Liquid
- Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Experience working with Shopify theme customization
- Understanding of Shopify admin, products, collections, checkout
- Basic knowledge of Git / version control (preferred)
- Ability to work independently and in a team
Good to Have (Plus Points):
- Experience with custom Shopify apps
- Familiarity with Shopify APIs
- Basic knowledge of SEO & performance optimization
- Experience with third-party integrations
