Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Set up new Shopify stores, including theme installation, product uploads, collections, and basic configurations
Customize existing themes to match brand guidelines and design mockups
Integrate third-party apps, plugins, and APIs into Shopify stores
Troubleshoot bugs, fix layout issues, and optimize store performance and page speed
Implement on-page SEO best practices and ensure mobile responsiveness across devices
Collaborate with designers, marketers, and senior developers to deliver projects on time
Conduct routine maintenance, updates, and quality checks on live stores

Required Skills & Qualifications

6 months to 1 year of hands-on experience working with Shopify
Good understanding of Shopify Liquid (theme templating language)
Strong basics in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Comfortable working with the Shopify admin panel and theme editor
Knows how to install, configure, and customize Shopify apps
Able to build mobile-friendly, responsive layouts that work across browsers
Familiar with Git or GitHub for version control
Can read existing code, spot bugs, and fix them
Clear communicator and a quick learner who enjoys solving problems
