Position: Shopify Developer and Website Manager

Role Summary
We are looking for a Shopify Developer to manage, customise, and continuously improve our Shopify website. This role involves both technical development and day to day website management. You will work closely with the design and marketing teams to implement design updates, improve site performance, launch campaigns, and build features that enhance the online shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, customise, and maintain the Shopify website
- Modify and optimise Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Build new pages, sections, and custom features as required
- Integrate and manage third party Shopify apps and APIs
- Improve website performance, speed, and mobile responsiveness
- Fix bugs, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure smooth website functionality
- Work with the design and marketing team to implement UI and UX improvements
- Build landing pages for campaigns, product launches, and marketing initiatives
- Manage product uploads, collections, and website structure when required
- Set up and manage discount codes, website banners, and promotional elements
- Implement and maintain tracking such as Meta Pixel, Google Analytics, and conversion events
- Ensure SEO best practices and clean code implementation
Required Skills
- Strong experience with the Shopify platform and Shopify theme development
- Proficiency in Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
- Experience customising Shopify themes and building sections
- Understanding of Shopify APIs and third party integrations
- Knowledge of site speed optimisation and responsive design
- Familiarity with Shopify apps, payment gateways, and checkout configuration
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical issues efficiently
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of ecommerce SEO best practices
- Experience with conversion rate optimisation
- Familiarity with analytics and performance tracking tools
- Experience using Git or version control
- Experience with Shopify Plus is a plus
Experience
Minimum 2 years of experience working with Shopify development
