Koch Engineered Solutions is looking for a
Shift Leader to join our manufacturing organization. This role plays a critical part in leading shop floor teams to achieve excellence in safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. The Shift Leader creates value by empowering people, applying Principle Based Management (PBM), and ensuring manufacturing outcomes align with organizational and customer expectations
Our Team
You will work closely with shop floor associates, support functions, and manufacturing leadership within the ETO manufacturing environment. The team is focused on safe operations, quality execution, continuous improvement, and delivering on customer commitments through collaboration and mutual respect.
What You Will Do
Requirements / Key Responsibilities
- Monitor, guide, and evaluate shop floor team performance, ensuring adherence to EHS, quality, and organizational standards.
- Allocate work, supervise daily operations, and drive process improvements with appropriate autonomy and judgment.
- Conduct performance reviews, provide coaching and feedback, and identify training and development needs.
- Plan and manage labor and material resources to optimize efficiency, utilization, and on-time performance.
- Prepare and communicate reports on performance, issues, and improvement initiatives to manufacturing leadership.
- Act as the primary communication link between shop floor teams and management, escalating issues when required.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Experience in supervising or leading manufacturing/shop floor teams in an ETO or industrial environment.
- Knowledge of EHS practices, quality systems, and standard manufacturing processes.
- Experience in coaching, developing, and empowering team members.
- Ability to make day-to-day operational decisions using sound judgment aligned with organizational values.

- Demonstrated application of Principle Based Management (PBM) in daily leadership behaviors.
- Experience driving continuous improvement and LEAN initiatives on the shop floor.
- Understanding of manufacturing financials, efficiency, and utilization metrics.
