Shift Incharge-Paint Shop

Job Role:

As a Line InCharge/Shift InCharge in the Paint Shop at Maruti Suzuki, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of various functions within the paint shop, including pre-treatment, sealing, dry sanding repair, painting, and inspection. Your primary objectives will be to manage manpower, achieve production targets, uphold safety standards, maintain product quality, and optimize production costs. Additionally, you will be responsible for daily operator training to enhance skills and performance.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manpower Handling: Oversee and manage a team of operators and workers, ensuring they are adequately trained and motivated to meet Production targets.
• Production: Monitor and optimize Production processes to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly Production targets efficiently.
• Safety: Uphold and enforce Safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
• Quality: Maintain high product Quality standards and implement Quality control measures to minimize defects and rework.
• Cost control: Identify opportunities to reduce Production costs without compromising Quality or safety.
• Training: Conduct daily Training sessions for operators to enhance their skills and productivity.
• Documentation: Prepare reports using Excel and PowerPoint to track and communicate Production, Quality, and Safety metrics.
• Communication: Demonstrate excellent Communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate with the team and management.

Functional/Technical:

• Sound knowledge of Paint shop process (Conveyor, Pretreatment, topcoat etc)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for creating and presenting reports.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and management.
• Presentation skills to deliver training sessions effectively.
