Shift Engineer

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain the operational efficiency of machinery and equipment during assigned shifts.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on all equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate with other engineers and maintenance staff to ensure smooth operations and prevent operational delays.
• Document all maintenance activities and report any significant issues to the senior engineering team.
• Assist in the implementation of engineering projects and upgrades as needed.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field)
• 3-10 years of experience in a similar role within a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems
• Proficiency in using diagnostic and repair tools
• Experience with PLCs, SCADA systems, and other automation technologies
• Knowledge of safety regulations and practices in an industrial setting
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work in shifts and adapt to changing schedules
