About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Shift Engineer (Electrical) to join our team in Jhagadia. You will be the guardian of electrical stability, responsible for the seamless operation and maintenance of both our Power Plant and Process Plant. Your primary mission is to achieve zero breakdowns while ensuring all electrical equipment and auxiliaries run at peak performance.

What You'll Do
  • Operational Excellence: Monitor and control electrical parameters via SCADA and local panels to ensure plants run according to pre-defined procedures.
  • Power Management: Maintain critical GEB parameters (MW/MVA/MVAr/PF) and oversee P48 & P60 Generator performance, including winding and bearing temperatures.
  • Maintenance & Safety: Lead the isolation of equipment for maintenance, issue permits in SAP, and strictly enforce LOTO (Lockout-Tagout) protocols for team safety.
  • Emergency Response: Coordinate emergency DG trials and take decisive action, including plant shutdowns if necessary, during critical onsite emergencies.
  • Reporting: Update daily power reports and master data in SAP, and maintain detailed shift logs and registers.
  • Resource Conservation: Execute energy conservation and productivity improvement schemes to optimize costs.
Who You Are

  • Qualified: You hold a Diploma, B.E., or B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
  • Experienced: You have 4+ years of experience in medium to large-scale Chemical, Chlor-Alkali, or Power industries.
  • Tech-Savvy: You are proficient in SCADA operations, SAP (for power posting and permits), and standard computer applications.
  • Knowledgeable: You understand plant chemicals, ISO standards, and statutory compliance related to electrical systems.
  • Safety-First: You have a deep commitment to Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) requirements.
