Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role:
- Monitor and resolve production incidents, ensuring minimal business impact and timely resolution
- Perform deep-dive analysis and root cause identification for complex technical issues in UNIX, SQL, and ETL environments
- Collaborate with L2 support, development, and infrastructure teams for issue escalation and resolution
- Manage daily health checks, batch monitoring, and critical job failures using monitoring tools (e.g., Autosys, App Hero)
- Analyze recurring incidents and implement permanent corrective actions to improve system stability
- Develop and optimize UNIX shell scripts and SQL queries for incident resolution and process automation
- Participate in incident review meetings, providing detailed incident analysis and RCA documentation
