Job Description
As a SharePoint On-Premise Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, customizing, and supporting SharePoint On-Premise solutions. You will work closely with business users, stakeholders, and IT teams to create effective and user-friendly solutions that enhance collaboration and business efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Development & Customization
- Design, develop, and maintain SharePoint On-Premise applications and workflows using SharePoint Designer and SharePoint Subscription Edition.
- Build and customize SharePoint lists, libraries, content types, site templates, and pages.
- Develop and deploy custom SPFx (SharePoint Framework) components and client-side web parts using React, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Integration & Automation
- Retrieve, display, and manage SharePoint list and library data using REST APIs and CAML queries.
- Implement process automation solutions using Power Automate (Flow) and Power Apps.
- Integrate SharePoint with external systems or databases as required.
- Maintenance & Support
- Manage existing SharePoint environments including site collection administration, permissions, and content management.
- Perform troubleshooting, performance tuning, and user support for SharePoint applications.
- Ensure SharePoint sites comply with organizational security and governance policies.
- Project Management & Collaboration
- Understand stakeholder requirements, translate business needs into SharePoint solutions, and manage projects independently.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality SharePoint solutions.
- Participate in requirement analysis, design discussions, testing, and deployment phases.
- Documentation & Testing
- Prepare detailed technical documentation for developed components, workflows, and configurations.
- Conduct unit testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Ensure quality and performance standards are met during project delivery.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 13 years of hands-on experience in SharePoint On-Premise development (SharePoint 2016/2019/Subscription Edition).
- Strong working knowledge of SharePoint Designer, SharePoint Framework (SPFx), and client-side development (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery).
- Proficiency in Power Automate, Power Apps, and REST API integration.
- Experience in building custom forms, views, and data-driven web parts.
- Good understanding of SharePoint architecture, site collections, content databases, and security model.
- Ability to develop and deploy reusable SharePoint components and templates.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to manage end-to-end development and delivery independently.
Good to Have
- Knowledge of SharePoint Online / Microsoft 365 environment.
- Familiarity with C#, ASP.NET, or PnP (Patterns and Practices) development model.
- Understanding of Power BI integration within SharePoint.
- Basic knowledge of SQL Server, IIS configuration, and SharePoint administration tasks.
