SharePoint Migration Expert (Smartsheet Migration)

Location: Hyderabad (Work from Office)

Role Type: Contract (3–6 Months)

Experience: 5+ Years

ABOUT THE ROLE

InovarTech is looking for a skilled and execution-focused SharePoint Migration Expert with strong experience in Smartsheet migrations. This role is primarily focused on migrating, transforming, and optimizing data, workflows, and business processes from legacy systems into SharePoint and Smartsheet environments.

This is a client-facing role, requiring strong communication skills, problem-solving ability, and expertise in delivering seamless migration solutions within defined timelines.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

SharePoint Migration & Implementation

  • Lead end-to-end migration activities into SharePoint Online, including data, documents, and workflows
  • Analyze existing systems and design efficient migration strategies
  • Configure and set up SharePoint sites, lists, libraries, and structures based on business needs
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance during migration

Smartsheet Migration

  • Drive migration of data and workflows from tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, MS Project, and legacy systems into Smartsheet
  • Map source data structures to Smartsheet architecture and validate accuracy post-migration
  • Rebuild workflows, dependencies, and automation within Smartsheet

Process Transformation

  • Assess existing client workflows and identify optimization opportunities
  • Implement automated solutions using SharePoint and Smartsheet capabilities
  • Improve efficiency through structured workflows, approvals, and reporting mechanisms

Client Engagement

  • Work directly with clients to gather requirements and translate them into migration solutions
  • Conduct solution walkthroughs, demos, and knowledge transfer sessions
  • Ensure stakeholder alignment and high satisfaction through effective communication and delivery

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • 5+ years of experience in SharePoint migration and implementation (SharePoint Online preferred)
  • Hands-on experience in Smartsheet migrations and implementations
  • Strong understanding of data migration, mapping, transformation, and validation processes
  • Experience with Power Automate, Power Apps, and workflow automation tools
  • Familiarity with migration scenarios:
  • Excel → Smartsheet
  • Google Sheets → Smartsheet
  • MS Project → Smartsheet
  • Legacy tools → SharePoint/Smartsheet
  • Good understanding of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem
  • Strong client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, delivery-driven environment
