Role Summary:

Senior technical leader responsible for the design, architecture, and delivery of enterprise SharePoint and web application platforms across IT Corporate Services. Drives solution architecture, optimizes systems and processes, and leads the development team through hands-on code reviews, governance, and continuous improvement. Serves as the primary technical authority for platform strategy and team delivery excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the SharePoint development team including Power Platform, Full Stack, and QA functions
• Design and architect enterprise-grade SharePoint Online solutions, site collections, workflows, and integrations
• Define and enforce application architecture standards, design patterns, and coding best practices across all workstreams
• Optimize processes, systems, and platforms to improve performance, reliability, and developer productivity
• Conduct regular code reviews and establish peer review processes to maintain code quality
• Lead CI/CD pipeline strategy, deployment processes, and release management practices
• Oversee monitoring strategy for application health, performance, and availability
• Drive AI integration strategy including GitHub Copilot adoption, prompts registry, and vibe coding practices
• Manage Tenant Administration governance for Power Platform and SharePoint environments
• Oversee SharePoint platform support, maintenance, and upgrade planning
• Mentor and develop team members; drive knowledge-sharing and skill development
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Manage vendor relationships and coordinate onboarding of new team members
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and frameworks for the platform ecosystem

Required Skills

• 18+ years of progressive experience in software development with deep expertise in SharePoint and Microsoft ecosystem
• Proven track record of leading and managing development teams of 5+ members
• Strong expertise in SPFx, Power Platform, React, Angular, .NET, TypeScript, and REST APIs
• Extensive experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies
• Demonstrated ability in solution architecture, platform design, and system optimization
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and mentoring skills

Methodologies & Delivery Practices:

• Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Experience working in Agile (Scrum) and Waterfall delivery models.
• Proficient in using JIRA for defect management, test tracking, and collaboration with development teams.
