This is textile Industry and the position is based on Kolhapur location & there is no accommodation basis.Job Purpose
To coordinate in ensuring least fabric rejection due to processing reasons by checking for adherence to SOPs while operating machines. To coordinate in deciding for actions to troubleshoot any fabric or machine defects. To coordinate with other concerned departments for efficient production planning and defect corrections. To coordinate in maintaining smooth worker handling while training workers for multi-skill development. To monitor stocks, prepare ISO documents and coordinate in developing SOPs for new product development.

Job Context
The processing department in GPFPL has 21 machines with the maximum processing capacity of 100 lacs meters per annum. Around 73.5 lac meters of fabric is processed annually. Thus, there is under-utilization of the machines because of which the processing shop floor is operational only for 4 days in a week. Each of the machines in the processing department have a capacity of around 50,000 meters which can be fed by around 100 looms, if operated continuously. Over the time, the focus of the department has shifted from adherence of standard procedures to cost optimization.
