To facilitate, monitor & follow-up performance appraisal process and reward & recognition programs in the mines to meet the objectives of Performance Management in the organization. | Monitor distribution schedule of appraisal forms, timely fill-up, review & finalization of appraisal rating. Facilitate & follow up timely goal setting exercise in Mines. Follow-up, support & ensure appraisers (HODs) to conduct structured performance feedback and counseling sessions. |
To organize and conduct training programs for contractors, employees, workers on related issues. | Identification of training needs, preparation of training calendar, imparting training as a faculty. Facilitate vocational training/ workers education programs from Central Board of Workers Education. |
Statutory Returns | Filing of statutory returns as per the scheduled dates related to Mines. |
To initiate & assist Head-Mines in manpower planning including rationalization to achieve manpower optimization. | Follow-up with Industrial Engineering and optimize manpower as per requirements. Relocate of employees within mines for better utilization of human resource. Assist team in requirement activities and coordinate with HR, Lohardaga / Ranchi in fulfilling the same. |
To attend, counsel and redress grievances of employees in coordination with Head-Mines and HR team at Lohardaga/Ranchi and address at the earliest. | Redress grievances of employees/ Workers on case-to-case basis as per grievance handling procedures. Visit the mines/ siding and sort out the grievances on the spot. Give required clarifications to the concerned individual and feedback to the department head regarding grievance and its status. |
Wages & salary administration, Benefits, Welfare measures. | Supervising the fortnight/ monthly wages/ salary of workers and employees of mines/siding. Ensure distribution of bonus to workers. Ensure that uniform, shoes, safety equipments are provided to all the employees/ workers. Ensure use of PPEs. |
CSR | Community need analysis, Planning & budgeting of CSR Projects/activities, coordinating with district authorities for mobilization of fund through Govt./NGO and organizing rural health camps. |
Medical | Coordinating and monitoring with medical team for improvement in health index, prevention from epidemic disease and ensuring with IME/PME of all employees including contractual. |
