4) Principal Accountabilities

Accountability

Supporting Actions

Administrative Management

. Oversee end-to-end site administration including office operations, documentation, and record management.

. Establish and standardize administrative procedures for efficiency and consistency.

. Monitor vendor services (housekeeping, catering, transport) to ensure quality and cost control.

Security Management

. Develop and implement site security policies, protocols, and access control systems.

. Supervise security personnel and contractors, ensuring discipline and performance standards.

. Conduct regular security audits, risk assessments, and surveillance reviews.

Asset Protection & Loss Prevention

. Implement controls to safeguard minerals, fuel, equipment, and other critical assets.

. Investigate incidents of theft, pilferage, or security breaches and recommend corrective actions.

. Maintain inventory tracking and reconciliation systems in coordination with operations teams.

Statutory & Regulatory Compliance

. Ensure adherence to mining laws, labour regulations, safety standards, and environmental requirements.

. Maintain all statutory records, licenses, and documentation for audits and inspections.

. Liaise with regulatory authorities to facilitate compliance and approvals

Facility Management

. Manage accommodation, catering, sanitation, and welfare facilities for employees and contractors.

. Ensure hygienic, safe, and comfortable living conditions in remote mining locations.

. Oversee maintenance of buildings, utilities, and infrastructure.

Logistics & Transport Coordination

. Coordinate transport for employees, materials, and supplies to ensure smooth operations.

. Monitor vehicle usage, fuel consumption, and contractor performance.

. Optimize logistics processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

Stakeholder & Community Coordination

. Build and maintain relationships with local communities, authorities, and law enforcement.

. Address local issues, grievances, and potential conflicts proactively.

. Support corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives where applicable.

Cost Management & Process Improvement

. Prepare and manage administrative and security budgets.

. Identify opportunities for cost optimization without compromising safety and quality.

. Drive continuous improvement initiatives in administrative and security processes.

Graduate in any discpline
