Role Description This is a full-time remote role for an SFMC QA (6 Month Contract) – Marketing Cloud at Mavlers. The SFMC QA professional will review and validate Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) campaigns, journeys, emails, and automations to ensure flawless execution before deployment. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating and executing test plans and test cases, performing regression and end-to-end testing, and validating data integrations, audience segmentation, personalization, and dynamic content. The role will collaborate closely with marketing operations, developers, and campaign managers to identify defects, document issues, and verify fixes. The SFMC QA professional will also help define QA best practices, maintain testing documentation, and contribute to continuous improvement of quality standards across marketing automation projects.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Quality Assurance and Quality Control, including defining test strategies, creating test cases, and validating deliverables against requirements.
- Experience with Quality Management and Quality Auditing practices to ensure processes, documentation, and outputs meet defined standards and compliance requirements.
- Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) principles or analogous regulated-quality frameworks, with the ability to apply structured, process-driven thinking to QA in digital and marketing environments.
- Hands-on experience testing Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Contact Builder) or similar marketing automation platforms.
- Ability to validate data flows, segmentation logic, and personalization, including testing SQL queries, AMPscript, and integrations with CRM or data platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to document defects clearly and track them through resolution.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional, remote teams across time zones.
- Familiarity with QA tools (e.g., Jira or similar ticketing systems, test management tools, email rendering and spam testing tools) is preferred.
