Responsibilities
Experience: 10- 12 Years Technical Architect that has good functional and technical knowledge in the Salesforce platform. This includes developing a thorough understanding of the Client's requirements then applying industry best practices and detailed knowledge of the solution to design an optimal solution that supports the business process and meets/exceeds functional requirements. This position builds a trusting relationship with major project stakeholders and leads them to the adoption of the best solution. Technical & Platform Skills Deep Commerce Cloud Knowledge: Mastery of the Salesforce Commerce Cloud, including its core platform capabilities, APIs, and data models. System Architecture & Design: Ability to design scalable, secure, and high-performance end-to-end e-commerce solutions. This includes creating architecture diagrams, data models, and technical specifications. Integration Expertise: Proficient in designing and implementing integrations with third-party systems such as ERPs (e.g., SAP), CRMs (e.g., Salesforce Sales/Service Cloud), PIMs, OMS, and payment gateways. Knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and data mapping is crucial. Customization & Development: Understanding of SFCC's customization capabilities, including cartridge development, OCAPI/Shop API, and extension points. While not always coding daily, the architect must be able to review code and guide developers effectively. Performance & Scalability: Skills in performance monitoring, bottleneck analysis, caching strategies (CDN, platform-level), and designing for high-traffic events. Security Best Practices: Knowledge of web security standards, data encryption, access control, and ensuring PCI compliance for payment processing. DevOps & Deployment: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, code repositories (e.g., Git), and deployment processes within the SFCC environment.

Project Governance: Strong organizational skills to provide technical oversight throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring solutions are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Problem-Solving: Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex technical issues and make critical design decisions under pressure. Documentation: Meticulous attention to detail in creating and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation that is clear and useful for development, QA, and support teams.
