Drive Change Management

  • Gain a clear understanding of the current situation, establish the need for change by challenging the status quo, bring a different perspective & implement the change and evaluate an overall impact of the change.
  • Understand and implement whole system transformation philosophy and DVF model of change management.
  • Lead & drive Tamrodaya implementation model i.e. Culture & Capabilities required to strengthen current orbit of Birla Copper as well as taking organization to the next orbit.
  • Define the ongoing role for leaders (PBUTs / AETs / DMTs / FIT / PIT) such as communication, role modeling, reinforcement of desired behaviors etc.

Stakeholder Alignment

  • Understand needs and expectations of stakeholders (Corporate & Unit level both internal & external) and establish the rapport with active engagement.
  • Promote clear communication & feedback channels and ensure timely response to key stakeholders.
  • Keep stakeholders informed of all-important changes / decisions that may affect them and escalate significant events / incidents along with possible solutions in a timely manner.
  • Understand and anticipate conflict with stakeholders and proactively resolve differences of opinion and interests in a constructive manner

Project planning & Execution

  • Plan multiple initiatives / projects considering scope of Tamrodaya & overall improvement targets, define strategies & priorities for unit and set-up governance mechanism within the unit & PBUs for smooth execution of Tamrodaya program.
  • Devise project tracking & control mechanism and establish interface between central program management team and function.
  • Develop process & provide guidelines to Track representatives of Vertical for track activity initiation, planning, execution, and closure.
  • Develop unit's Tamrodaya / Improvement dashboard that covers all Tamrodaya initiatives & critical activities and highlights their success measures.
  • Identify & assess potential risk arising out of change initiatives, develop a Vertical specific plan as a counter measure and to mitigate its impact during planning & execution phase

Capability Building Initiatives

  • Build change management capability in Unit Steering team and PBUT members and challenge them with conventional thinking & practices.
  • Facilitate & Train all key stakeholders on Improvement methodologies, Excellence standards and Cultural nuances.
  • Train AETs, SETs & DMTs on CFT way of working, Workplace management and Problem-solving tools & techniques.
  • Introduce best practices of Operational excellence & productivityimprovementtechniques like Lean, TPM, FMEA, Six sigma, TOC, VSM etc.

Establish CFT Way of Working

  • Conceptualize and finalize key building blocks of CFT structure i.e., Unit STs, PBUTs, COEs, Shared Services, Tamrodaya cell etc.
  • Form cross-functional teams at frontline & managerial levels, conduct awareness sessions on CFT way of working and provide infra structural & knowledge support to CFTs.
  • Ensure execution of Goal deployment, CFT KPI / DPI boards, effective monitoring mechanism, improvement goals & agenda, rhythm of interactions at various levels of CFT structure
  • Provide support to HR in preparing Job description (JD) for all unique roles in CFT and defining manning principles for various entities of CFT structure.
  • Facilitate PBUs in setting and clearly defined KPIV & KPOV (key performance input / output variables) to AETs / DMTs
  • Facilitate DMTs, AETs, COEs, PBUT and PST to achieve excellence levels for continual improvement of Copper Vertical

Customer Centricity

  • Facilitate UST in preparing Customer Centricity track roadmap.
  • Handhold PBUs and COEs in formulation of Service Level Agreements and signing off by both customer, and supplier.
  • Ensure SLAs are made at Interplant and Intra plant and Customer Focused Teams (CFTs) meet identified customers periodically and take feedback.
  • Ensure performance on SLA's is monitored and action planning towards enhancing internal and external customer value.
  • Facilitation in regular measurement of satisfaction and internal customer satisfaction index and continual improvement in Customer satisfaction survey score through action plans/ projects identification.
  • Project identification through PBUTs to make existing processes more Customer centric processes.

Driving one Tamrodaya Initiatives across Birla Copper i.e. Customer Centricity.

  • Plan & conceptualize Customer Centricity's various steps along with Internal Customer Centricity Track & achieve Customer Delight Internal Customer Centricity index (ICSI).
  • Handhold Track team for developing systems & processes for Internal Customer Centricity index (ICSI) assessment.
  • Handhold Track team for developing systems & processes for Customer Supplier Bazaar (CS Bazaar) and Service level agreement (SLA) between customer & Supplier.
  • Develop mechanism for monitoring of SLAs & action plan to fulfill expectations by internal customers & suppliers.
