Senior Analyst or Assistant manager - Service Sales - Contract Sales- Power Group

Experience: 5-6 Years
Industry: Power Electronics / UPS / Critical Power Solutions

Role Summary

The Senior Analyst - Service Sales (Power Contract Sales) or AM will be responsible for end-to-end ownership of service sales and key accounts in the Chennai market, managing a business volume of 15 Crores annually. The role focuses on AMC renewals, Warranty-to-AMC (WCR) conversions, service product sales (Batteries, BMS, spares, special products) and also collections, with clear accountability for weekly and monthly targets.

1. Revenue & Target Ownership

  • Own and deliver 15 to 20 CR annual service sales business in the Chennai region.
  • Achieve weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for UPS AMC/renewals
  • Build and manage a healthy service sales pipeline with accurate forecasting
  • Manage UPS AMC renewals, warranty-to-AMC (WCR) conversions, and contract extensions & ONTIME RENEWAL OF CONTRACTS
  • Track installed base and warranty expiries to maximize WCR and renewal conversion.
  • Drive timely renewal closures through structured follow-ups and pricing strategies.
  • Drive service Business by engaging deeply with existing customers and bring more revenues
  • Should be able to connect with Internal and external Team to achieve the specified Target
  • Work closely with Service Operations, Technical Teams, Finance, and Collections to ensure smooth execution and billing.
  • Support contract scope finalization, invoicing, and customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to travel and meet customers on daily basis and propose value-based service solutions.

2. Key Account Management - End to End

  • Handle key service accounts independently, acting as a single point of contact.
  • Develop strong customer relationships to increase service penetration and retention.

3. Cross-Selling & Service Product Sales

  • Drive sales of service products, including:
    • Batteries & battery replacements
    • Battery Monitoring Systems (BMS)
    • UPS retrofit / upgradation
    • Spares & consumables
    • CSM -(Manpower & DC upgradation sales)
  • Generate and penetrate new enquiries for additional services and power products during renewals and routine customer interactions.

4. Collections & Payment Management

  • Track outstanding receivables for assigned accounts.
  • Ensure timely collection of payments as per agreed credit terms.
  • Coordinate with customers and internal finance teams to close overdue payments and avoid credit blocks.

5. Sales Analysis & Reporting

  • Monitor weekly and monthly performance dashboards covering sales, renewals, WCR, and collections.
  • Review gaps vs targets and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate data in CRM and MIS systems.

Experience

  • 4-5 years of experience in Service Sales / Power Contract Sales / UPS Service Business.
  • Proven experience managing 10-15 CR service sales portfolio, preferably in Chennai or similar metro markets.

Technical & Commercial Skills

  • Strong understanding of UPS systems, AMC, WCR, renewals, batteries, retrofit, and spares.
  • Ability to identify customer needs and propose value-based service solutions.
  • Strong Negotiation skills , Data management , Maintaining and Updating Installation Base in system, ability to get price raise on each contracts and Better margin on New contracts

Sales & Execution Skills

  • Strong target orientation with the ability to plan weekly and monthly closures.
  • Experience in collections management and payment follow-ups.

Analytical & Tools

  • Proficiency in MS office, Excel, CRM tools, MIS, and sales tracking dashboards.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with UPS OEMs / critical power solution providers or related filed.
  • Exposure to key account management and service-led revenue growth.
  • DIPLOMA /BE - EEE /EC -Engineering qualification preferred.
