Key Responsibilities
Solution Architecture & Design
- Architect end-to-end ServiceNow solutions across GRC, SecOps, and other enterprise modules.
- Define scalable, secure, and robust architectural frameworks, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Create architecture diagrams, data models, and solution documentation.
Strategic Planning & Platform Roadmap
- Partner with business and IT stakeholders to define the long-term ServiceNow roadmap.
- Identify platform improvement areas and propose scalable architectural enhancements.
Customization, Configuration & Governance
- Oversee customization/configuration for GRC, SecOps, ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, and platform features.
- Ensure adherence to ServiceNow best practices, development standards, and coding governance.
Integration Design
- Architect integrations with enterprise systems such as LDAP, Active Directory, SAP, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), security tools, and API-based systems.
- Utilize REST, SOAP, OAuth2, JWT, MID Server, JDBC, SAML, SSL, and other protocols.
Technical Leadership & Mentorship
- Guide development teams in implementing scalable and secure ServiceNow solutions.
- Conduct architectural reviews and solution validations, and enforce development best practices.
Platform Optimization & Performance
- Review workflows, data models, integrations, and automations to optimize platform performance.
- Ensure CMDB integrity and alignment with CSDM standards.
Governance, Compliance & Security
- Define governance frameworks for access controls, data security, and configuration management.
- Align solutions with industry-standard cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, COBIT, and enterprise risk policies.
Stakeholder & Client Engagement
- Act as a subject matter expert for ServiceNow architecture and security-enabled solutions.
- Conduct client workshops, solution demos, and architectural presentations.
Upgrades, Releases & Enhancements
- Lead platform upgrades, patching, and adoption of new ServiceNow capabilities.
- Ensure minimal disruption and maintain platform stability during release cycles.
Required Qualifications
Experience
- 1016 years of total experience with 810 years in ServiceNow.
- At least 4 years in an architect or lead role.
- Strong experience delivering and supporting GRC (IRM) and SecOps (SIR, VR) projects.
Technical Skills
- Expertise in ServiceNow architecture, GRC modules, and SecOps modules.
- Strong expertise in ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, CSDM, and platform architecture.
- Deep hands-on knowledge of:
- JavaScript, Glide API, Script Includes, Business Rules, UI Policies
- Flow Designer, Virtual Agent, Predictive Intelligence
- REST/SOAP, OAuth2, JWT, SAML, SSL, LDAP, JDBC, FTPS
- Experience in designing scalable integration architectures.
- Strong CMDB and CSDM alignment knowledge.
- Experience with CI/CD, version control, and update-set migration strategies.
Soft Skills

- Strong consulting experience and ability to translate business needs into architectural solutions.
- High ownership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving capability.
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- ServiceNow CSA Mandatory
- CIS (Risk & Compliance, SecOps)Preferred
- ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) Advantageous
- Additional cybersecurity certifications (nice to have)
