About the Role

We're looking for a ServiceNow SecOps Solutions Architect to help design and deliver secure, scalable, and intelligent security operations solutions on the ServiceNow platform.

In this role, you'll be the technical leader driving how organizations detect, respond to, & remediate threats through Security Operations (SecOps) including Security Incident Response (SIR), Vulnerability Response (VR), and integrations with the broader security ecosystem.

You'll work closely with cybersecurity, IT, and business teams to turn complex challenges into practical, automated solutions that enhance visibility, accelerate response times, and strengthen the overall security posture.

What You'll Do

1. Architect and Design SecOps Solutions

Lead the end-to-end architecture and design of ServiceNow SecOps solutions, focusing on SIR, VR, and related security modules.

Translate business and security requirements into scalable, maintainable ServiceNow architectures.

Recommend and implement best practices, emphasizing out-of-the-box functionality, platform alignment, and minimal customization.

2. Strengthen Platform Security & Governance

Define, implement, and enforce platform-level security and governance standards.

Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory frameworks through robust data protection, access control, and encryption practices

Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to integrate ServiceNow with enterprise tools such as SIEMs, vulnerability scanners, threat intelligence feeds, and identity management systems.

3. Deliver and Integrate Solutions

Oversee configuration, development, and deployment of SecOps capabilities in ServiceNow.

Lead secure API-driven integrations between ServiceNow and external security systems to enable real-time visibility and automation.

Ensure all implementations follow platform best practices & meet both functional and security requirements.

4. Drive Continuous Improvement

Stay up to date with ServiceNow SecOps innovations, security frameworks, and industry trends.

Conduct regular platform assessments to identify opportunities for automation, efficiency, and resilience.

Share knowledge through documentation, workshops, and participation in the ServiceNow community.

5. Collaborate and Advise

Act as a trusted advisor for IT security and business stakeholders on all things ServiceNow SecOps.

Work closely with administrators, developers, third-party vendors to coordinate development & integrations.

Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

6. Ensure Quality and Compliance

Define coding standards, testing processes, and governance practices to ensure consistent delivery.

Maintain accurate documentation and support the development of operational runbooks and knowledge articles.

What You Bring

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience:

5+ years of experience as a ServiceNow Architect or technical lead, specializing in SecOps.

Hands-on expertise with Security Incident Response (SIR), Vulnerability Response (VR), and security integrations.

Strong background integrating ServiceNow with enterprise security tools (SIEM, endpoint protection, threat intel, etc.).

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide), REST APIs, and secure web integrations.

Solid understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, incident response processes, & vulnerability management.

Experience designing secure, compliant ServiceNow architectures within enterprise environments.

Familiarity with Agile or SAFe or working in Agile delivery method

Certifications (Preferred ):

ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)

ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist SIR and VR (Preferred)
