Job Summary
The ServiceNow SecOps Developer is primarily responsible for designing, developing, and supporting ServiceNow Security Operations, with a strong focus on Vulnerability Response (VR). This role delivers scalable SecOps solutions through configuration, integration, automation, and Service Portal customizations, while adhering to ServiceNow best practices. In addition to SecOps, the developer is expected to contribute to general ServiceNow platform features as needed, applying scripting, catalog, and workflow skills. The role requires strong collaboration and communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Job Requirements
- Design, develop, and support ServiceNow SecOps solutions, with strong focus on Vulnerability Response (VR) and security operations use cases.
- Configure and enhance SecOps processes including data ingestion, prioritization, remediation tracking, and reporting.
- Build and maintain integrations with third‑party tools and enterprise systems using REST APIs, spokes, and MID Server, based on business needs.
- Develop and customize Service Portal experiences (pages, widgets, UI components) for security and IT users.
- Perform platform scripting across ServiceNow modules, leveraging Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, and UI Policies to meet functional requirements.
- Create and manage Service Catalog items related to security requests, access, exceptions, and operational workflows.
- Design and support Flow Designer and legacy Workflow automations to streamline SecOps and platform processes.
- Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve issues related to SecOps functionality, integrations, scripting, and automation.
- Collaborate effectively with security teams, platform teams, stakeholders, and vendors to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
Demonstrate
strong communication skills, including clear documentation, participation in design discussions, and proactive status updates to BSA.
Education
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Related Experience
Primary Skillset: ServiceNow SecOps (VR), Service Portal, Integrations
Secondary Skillset: Platform Scripting, Service Catalog, Flow/Workflow
