The ServiceNow SecOps Developer will implement, configure, and optimize security workflows using the ServiceNow platform. The role focuses on automating incident response, managing vulnerabilities, integrating with external security tools, and ensuring alignment with ITSM processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of ServiceNow Security Operations suites, including Security Incident Response (SIR) and Vulnerability Response (VR) modules.
- Develop and configure automated workflows and orchestration to accelerate incident containment and remediation.
- Design, implement, and maintain integrations between SecOps modules and external security tools (SIEMs, Threat Intelligence Platforms, vulnerability scanners) using REST/SOAP APIs and Integration Hub.
- Customize the platform using JavaScript, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, and Flow Designer to meet security requirements.
- Ensure seamless integration and data flow between SecOps and ITSM modules (Incident, Change) for accurate context on security threats.
- Develop reports, dashboards, and metrics to monitor KPIs, track remediation progress, and support compliance reporting.
Experience Requirements
- 58 years of experience in enterprise software systems.
- 23 years of hands-on experience implementing and managing ServiceNow Security Operations (SIR/VR) modules.
- Strong understanding of core ServiceNow platform features, architecture, and ITSM processes.
Preferred Certifications
- Mandatory: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- Highly Desirable: ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist Security Operations (CIS-SIR/VR)
- ITIL v4 Foundation certification
