ServiceNow Configurator/Developer (Assistance Manager) – Deloitte Support Services India Private Limited

The GTS GDAS ServiceNow team provides ServiceNow technology support to Deloitte Global and Member Firms. We're hiring a ServiceNow Assistant Manager who will act as a subject-matter expert across multiple ServiceNow implementations, Team Lead experience and driving ITIL-aligned process over ServiceNow.

Work you'll do

  • Design, configure, customize, and deploy ServiceNow solutions for new and existing implementations.
  • Build and maintain workflows, reports, data loads, and other platform artifacts.
  • Implement and manage integrations with third-party systems and external platforms.
  • Perform regression testing; triage and resolve defects.
  • Maintain platform administration, release and source control, and configuration management.
  • Prepare documentation, unit test cases, runbooks, and training materials; deliver end-user and technician training.
  • Lead discovery, PoC/prototype development, estimation, and solution handovers to delivery teams.
  • Engage with stakeholders including executive leadership; provide daily in-person support when required.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of platform releases, industry best practices, and ITIL processes

Responsibilities ( Strategic & Operational)

  • Strong technical and remote collaboration skills are critical to this role.
  • Work on medium to large ServiceNow implementations and upgrades; ensure alignment with solution architecture and design standards.
  • Own end‑to‑end solutioning from requirement analysis through delivery; collaborate with SMEs, architects, project managers and delivery teams.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ServiceNow releases, features and industry best practices; proactively recommend innovative, ITIL-aligned solutions.
  • Define and validate technical requirements and ensure traceability to design.
  • Support proactive problem and risk management and continuous improvement.
  • Key Technical Skills, Experience and Knowledge
  • 5-6 years of hands-on ServiceNow experience (within 7-9 years overall experience).
  • At least 2-3 years of ServiceNow team lead experience.
  • Strong scripting and front-end skills: JavaScript (Glide), HTML, CSS, XML, JSON, Ajax.
  • Experience with ServiceNow server- and client-side scripting (Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Actions, UI Policies, ACLs).
  • Service Portal, UI Builder, and Workspace configuration experience.
  • REST and SOAP web services integration experience; familiarity with integration patterns and migrations.
  • Good to have knowledge on at least one of the following ServiceNow applications.
  • ITSM – IT Service Management
  • Discovery – On-Premises & Off- Premises
  • ServiceNow Orchestration
  • ITOM - IT Operations Management
  • SPM/ITBM – IT Business Management
  • HRSD (HR Service Delivery Fundamentals)
  • ServiceNow Event Management
  • Understanding of Domain Separation and ISQM standards (desired).
  • Strong SDLC experience, Agile/SAFe familiarity, estimation and debugging skills, and experienced working with distributed teams.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication and stakeholder-facing experience.
  • Execute construction of solution that leverages knowledge of designated programming language(s) and ensures consistency with proposed design approach; Initiates peer reviews of system code; Establishes standards and leading practices

Certifications

  • ServiceNow Certified Systems Administrator is a must.
  • ServiceNow Implementation Specialist & CAD is a great bonus.

  • Analytical, methodical, and customer-focused with strong interpersonal skills.

  • Location : Hyderabad.
  • Shift : 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM.
  • Education/Other: Bachelor's Degree
