Job Title: ServiceNow ITOM Developer / Implementation Consultant

Location: Hyderabad (Work from Office)

Experience: 7+ Years in ServiceNow + 2–3 Years in Application Development)

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow ITOM Developer/Implementation Consultant with 7+ years of hands-on ServiceNow experience, specializing in IT Operations Management (ITOM) implementations. The ideal candidate should also have 2–3 years of prior application development experience in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, .NET, PHP, Python, or similar technologies.

The candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting ServiceNow ITOM solutions, including Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, CMDB, and integrations. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow ITOM solutions aligned with business and IT operational requirements.
• Configure and support Discovery, CMDB, Service Mapping, Event Management, and Orchestration.
• Develop custom solutions using JavaScript, Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Flow Designer, and IntegrationHub.
• Build and maintain integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, MID Servers, and IntegrationHub.
• Configure and maintain CMDB, including Identification & Reconciliation Rules, CI Class Management, and data quality initiatives.
• Troubleshoot and optimize Discovery patterns, Event Management rules, and Service Mapping configurations.
• Participate in ServiceNow platform upgrades, patching, cloning, and production support activities.
• Collaborate with architects, business analysts, infrastructure teams, and stakeholders throughout project delivery.
• Follow Agile development methodologies and participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and release activities.
• Prepare technical documentation, design documents, and implementation guides.

• 7 years of hands-on ServiceNow development and implementation experience.
• Strong implementation experience in:

• Strong knowledge of ITIL processes.

Development Experience

• 2–3 years of application development experience in one or more of the following:
• Java
• JavaScript
• .NET (C#)
• PHP
• Python
• Other object-oriented programming languages

Preferred Qualifications

• ServiceNow CSA Certification
• CIS – Discovery / CIS – Service Mapping / CIS – ITOM
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience integrating monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor, SolarWinds, Dynatrace, Splunk, or similar.
• Knowledge of infrastructure technologies including Windows, Linux, networking, and virtualization.
