Role: ServiceNow HRSD Developer

Experience: 4+ Years

Location: Pan India

Technical Skill Set: ServiceNow, HRSD/ESC Modules, Java/JavaScript

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled ServiceNow HRSD Developer to design, develop, customize, and implement HR Service Delivery (HRSD) solutions on the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in ServiceNow HRSD modules, strong problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable HR technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate HR business requirements into scalable technical solutions within the ServiceNow HRSD framework.
  • Collaborate closely with ServiceNow Platform Administrators, ITSM developers, and HR stakeholders.
  • Configure and develop ServiceNow HRSD modules, including data imports, integrations, and enhancements.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to HRSD releases, patches, and system updates.
  • Develop UI forms, fields, client scripts, server scripts, notifications, workflows, integrations, and performance reports.
  • Design, configure, and maintain Service Catalog items and associated approval workflows.
  • Work with HR teams to create and enhance the Employee Service Center (ESC) portal.
  • Develop and maintain Access Control Lists (ACLs) and workflow validations.
  • Capture functional requirements and user stories for development.
  • Adhere to ServiceNow and organizational development best practices and coding standards.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, planning, and retrospectives.
  • Ensure code quality, perform unit testing, and create required documentation.
  • Support business users during User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Provide training to HRSD fulfillers and administrative users on new enhancements.

Required Technical Competencies (Must-Have)

  • Hands-on experience in developing and customizing ServiceNow HR Service Delivery (HRSD)/Employee Service Management applications, including:
  • HR Case Management
  • HR Knowledge Management
  • Employee Service Center (Portal)
  • Enterprise Onboarding & Transitions (Lifecycle Events)
  • Employee Document Management
  • HR Performance Analytics
  • Integration experience with HRSM/HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors).
  • Integration experience with directories such as Active Directory using methods like LDAPs.
  • Experience integrating using Web Services, JDBC, SFTP.
  • Strong understanding of unit testing, SIT, performance testing, and UAT processes.
  • Proficiency in ServiceNow development using JavaScript, Jelly, XML, HTML, and CSS.
  • Mandatory certifications: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) HRSD
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Basic knowledge of ITIL, HR service delivery processes, and SDLC.

Preferred Qualifications (Good-to-Have)

  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist ITSM & HRSD
  • ITIL v3/v4 Foundation Certification
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
