Role: ServiceNow Discovery Admin
Position Type: Full-Time Contract (40hrs/week)
Contract Duration: 6 months+
Work Hours: EST
Work Schedule: 8 hours/day (Mon-Fri)
Location: 100% Remote
We're seeking a ServiceNow Discovery Admin to manage and optimize Discovery and CMDB operations, ensuring accurate asset visibility and data integrity across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and maintain ServiceNow Discovery schedules and jobs
- Configure probes, patterns, and MID Servers
- Monitor and troubleshoot Discovery jobs & logs
- Maintain CMDB data accuracy and quality
- Support configuration management policies (ITIL-aligned)
- Collaborate with IT Operations and Asset Management teams
- Automate and enhance Discovery processes
Requirements:
- 5+ years of ServiceNow Discovery & CMDB experience
- Strong knowledge of MID Server configuration
- Experience with scripting & automation
- Understanding of ITSM / ITIL frameworks
- Knowledge of network protocols & operating systems
- ServiceNow certification is a plus
