Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer to design, develop, customize, and support ServiceNow applications and modules. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in ServiceNow development, scripting, integrations, and platform administration, with the ability to deliver scalable and high-quality solutions aligned with business requirements.
Key Responsibilities ServiceNow Development & Configuration
- Design, develop, and customize ServiceNow applications and modules.
- Configure and maintain workflows, Business Rules, UI Policies, Client Scripts, and server-side scripts.
- Develop and customize ServiceNow forms, lists, and user interfaces.
- Create and maintain Script Includes and other reusable components.
- Ensure adherence to ServiceNow development best practices and coding standards.
Integrations & Platform Management
- Implement and support integrations using REST APIs, SOAP web services, and MID Server.
- Perform ServiceNow platform upgrades, patch implementations, and enhancements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to platform performance, security, and functionality.
- Support the continuous improvement of the ServiceNow platform.
Requirements Gathering & Collaboration
- Collaborate with business analysts, administrators, and end users to gather and analyze requirements.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions and designs.
- Participate in solution reviews and provide technical recommendations.
Testing, Deployment & Support
- Support unit testing, system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and deployment activities.
- Provide post-production support and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and provide knowledge transfer to support teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong hands-on experience developing on the ServiceNow platform.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience with ServiceNow scripting, including:
- Client Scripts
- Business Rules
- Script Includes
- UI Policies
- Server-side scripting
- Experience working with ServiceNow modules such as:
- ITSM (Incident, Problem, and Change Management)
- ITOM and Integrations (preferred but not mandatory)
- Knowledge of ServiceNow integration methods using REST and SOAP APIs.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies and SDLC processes.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills related to ServiceNow platform issues.
Preferred Qualifications
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
- Experience with ServiceNow Flow Designer and Integration Hub.
- Familiarity with Performance Analytics, dashboards, and reporting capabilities.
- Preferred domain experience in IT Service Management (ITSM) and enterprise ServiceNow implementation/support projects. Exposure to IT operations, service delivery, and digital transformation initiatives will be an added advantage.
