About Position
A ServiceNow SecOps Developer is responsible for designing, configuring, and customizing Security Operations (SecOps) modules within the ServiceNow platform, primarily focusing on Security Incident Response (SIR) and Vulnerability Response (VR). The role involves integrating security tools, automating workflows, and ensuring compliance with organizational security standards.

What You'll Do
- Develop & Configure SecOps Modules Implement and customize ServiceNow Security Incident Response and Vulnerability Response applications to meet business and security requirements.
- Integration with Security Tools Integrate ServiceNow SecOps with third-party tools like Qualys, Tenable, Splunk, and other vulnerability scanners using REST APIs and MID Servers.
- Automation & Workflow Design Create automated workflows for incident triage, vulnerability detection, remediation tracking, and SLA monitoring.
- Custom Development Develop scripts, business rules, and Flow Designer automations using JavaScript, Glide API, and other scripting languages to extend platform functionality.
- Dashboard & Reporting Design dashboards and reports for vulnerability metrics, SLA tracking, and executive-level visibility.
- Documentation & Training Maintain detailed documentation of configurations and provide training to internal teams on SecOps processes.
Expertise You'll Bring
- Understanding of ITIL framework Experienced to work in Agile software development environments.
- Ability to clearly articulate his/her point of view and to have a Solutioning mindset.
- Prior experience in customer-facing roles, along with leading and mentoring team on technical front (good to have).
- Good communication & presentation skills, proactive mindset and capacity to learn and work independently, ServiceNow certification is a plus Roles and Responsibility.
- Development of robust and performant solutions, create solutions keeping architecture & best practice principles in mind for new business requirements.
- Focus on delivering the solution as configurable and provide alternate solutions wherever possible. Define Approach & Solutions for proposals and estimate the
- 5–10+ years in ServiceNow development, with at least 3+ years in SecOps (SIR & VR).
- Hands-on experience with integrations and customizations.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, and ServiceNow configuration best practices.
- Strong knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs, MID Servers, and security workflows.
- Certifications:
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in SecOps or Vulnerability Response.
- ServiceNow CAD and CSA certifications preferred.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities for guiding teams and stakeholders.
