Job Description

We are seeking an experienced ITOM Developer & CMDB Developer to design, develop, and support IT Operations Management solutions, primarily on the ServiceNow platform. The role involves working closely with infrastructure, monitoring, and operations teams to deliver scalable and automated ITOM solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow ITOM solutions (Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, CMDB).
• Configure and customize Discovery patterns, probes, sensors, and schedules.
• Build and maintain Service Mapping (Top-down/Tag-based) for business services.
• Develop scripts using JavaScript, Glide API, Script Includes, Business Rules, UI Actions.
• Implement ITOM best practices and improve operational efficiency through automation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for requirement gathering and solution design.
• Assist in upgrades, patching, and instance health activities.
• Prepare technical documentation and support knowledge transfer.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3–7 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow ITOM.
• Strong experience in:
• Discovery
• Service Mapping
• Event Management
• CMDB
• Solid understanding of IT infrastructure (Servers, Network, Cloud, Applications).
• Proficiency in JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting.
• Experience with REST/SOAP integrations.
• Knowledge of ITIL framework (ITIL v3/v4 preferred).
• Familiarity with AWS/Azure/GCP environments is a plus.

Preferred Certifications

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
• ServiceNow ITOM Specialist (Discovery / Service Mapping / Event Management)
• ITIL Certification
