Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and customize ServiceNow Service Portal using AngularJS.
  • Customize Service CatLog items, Record Producers, and portal forms to support ITSM/ESM use cases.
  • Ensure portal design aligns with ITIL processes (Incident, Request, Change, Knowledge).
  • Optimize portal performance, reusability, and maintainability of AngularJS components.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI teams to translate wireframes into functional portal designs.
  • Support portal-related issues in Production and participate in root cause analysis.
  • Adhere to ServiceNow SDLC, coding standards, and security/compliance guidelines.
  • Document portal designs, configurations, and custom components for audit and operational readiness.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Service Portal
  • Strong expertise in AngularJS (1.x) in ServiceNow context.
  • Experience developing Service Portal Widgets and custom UI components.
  • Working knowledge of ServiceNow scripting:
  • Client Scripts
  • UI Policies
  • Script Includes
  • Glide Ajax
  • Familiarity with ITSM modules (Incident, Request, Change, Knowledge).
  • Experience integrating front-end components with backend data via REST APIs.
  • Good understanding of browser compatibility, performance optimization, and security.
