ServiceNow Senior Developer

Kiya.ai is looking for an experienced ServiceNow Senior Developer to design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions that align with business requirements. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in the ServiceNow platform, including hands-on experience with custom application development, integration, and advanced configurations. This role demands collaboration with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable and maintainable ServiceNow solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop customized ServiceNow applications and workflows, including client scripts, business rules, UI policies, and data policies.
  • Work on ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CMDB, Service Portal, Discovery, or GRC, based on project needs.
  • Lead the design and implementation of ServiceNow integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, MID Servers, and IntegrationHub.
  • Review and optimize current configurations and workflows for performance and maintainability.
  • Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and project managers to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers.
  • Ensure best practices in ServiceNow development and governance are followed.
  • Support upgrades, patching, and ongoing maintenance activities of the ServiceNow platform.
  • Document technical specifications, workflows, and configuration changes.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture, data model, and common modules.
  • Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and AngularJS within the ServiceNow platform.
  • Proficient in developing custom scoped applications, UI macros, widgets, and service portals.
  • Solid knowledge of ServiceNow APIs (REST, SOAP), Web Services, SSO, and third-party integrations.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Good understanding of CMDB and Asset Management practices.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and frameworks.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer.
  • ServiceNow Implementation Specialist certification (any module).
  • Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Version Control (e.g., Git) is a plus.
  • Exposure to Performance Analytics and Reporting modules.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to lead and deliver in fast-paced environments.
  • Detail-oriented and proactive.
