Key Responsibilities

CMDB Management

• Maintain and update the CMDB within ServiceNow, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies.
• Develop and implement processes for identifying, recording, and managing configuration items (CIs) and their relationships.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure all CIs are accurately recorded and updated.

Data Integrity & Quality

• Perform regular audits to ensure CMDB data integrity and quality.
• Identify and rectify data discrepancies and inaccuracies.
• Develop and enforce data quality standards and processes.

Process Development & Improvement

• Design and implement configuration management processes and workflows to improve efficiency.
• Gather requirements from stakeholders and translate into effective CMDB solutions.
• Continuously monitor and enhance CMDB processes aligning with industry best practices.

Integration & Automation

• Integrate CMDB with other IT systems and ServiceNow modules like Incident, Change, and Problem Management.
• Develop and maintain scripts, workflows, and tools to automate CMDB tasks.
• Collaborate with IT operations to ensure seamless system integration.

Reporting & Analytics

• Generate reports and dashboards reflecting CMDB health and status.
• Analyze data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
• Provide regular updates and insights to management and stakeholders.

Training & Support

• Train IT staff and stakeholders on CMDB processes and best practices.
• Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for CMDB-related queries and support.
