About the role

BNP Paribas is accelerating the optimization of both IT‑SM and non‑IT‑SM processes on the ServiceNow platform. As a ServiceNow Developer you will design, develop, and deliver high‑quality solutions across a range of ServiceNow modules, ensuring smooth transitions and transparent delivery for our internal and external clients.

Responsibilities:

Core responsibilities

• Design, develop, and configure both out‑of‑the‑box (OOB) and custom functionalities on ServiceNow, focusing on ITSM and non‑ITSM modules.
• Apply best‑practice development standards to guarantee the highest quality of deliverables.
• Write efficient server‑side (Business Rules, Script Includes) and client‑side (UI Policies, UI Scripts) scripts, leveraging Flow Designer where appropriate.
• Participate in platform upgrades, evaluate new features and advise on their adoption.
• Support knowledge transfer and ensure transparent hand‑over of work to clients and other stakeholders.

Additional contributions

• Bring a solid understanding of the business processes that underpin ServiceNow solutions.
• Maintain relevant ServiceNow certifications (minimum CSA) and stay current with product enhancements.

Required Skills:

Technical expertise

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience with ServiceNow development (ITSM and at least one non‑ITSM module).
• Strong scripting skills (JavaScript, Glide APIs) and practical experience with Flow Designer.
• Proven ability to configure and customize the ServiceNow platform, including data imports, UI policies, and reporting.

Education & certifications

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) – required; additional module certifications are a plus.
