Description:

Lead architecture, design, and roadmap development for ServiceNow CMDB and ITOM capabilities. This role will define target-state architecture, drive integration strategies, establish governance standards, and enable future AI-powered operational intelligence capabilities. The Architect will serve as the technical authority for CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, integration architecture, and AI-driven operational transformation initiatives.

Role:

Architecture Leadership

• Define target-state CMDB and ITOM architecture.
• Design scalable integration frameworks.
• Establish architecture standards and best practices.
• Drive CMDB maturity and ITOM roadmap planning.

ITOM & CMDB Transformation

• Architect Discovery and Service Mapping solutions.
• Define CI lifecycle and governance models.
• Design reconciliation and data quality frameworks.
• Establish application and infrastructure dependency models.

Integration Architecture

• Design integrations across enterprise systems.
• Evaluate onboarding approaches for new data sources.
• Define API strategies and data exchange standards.
• Enable data aggregation from infrastructure, cloud, identity, ERP, and business systems.

AI & Operational Intelligence

• Design AI-enabled Configuration Management architectures.
• Define patterns for operational intelligence platforms.
• Architect context layers, knowledge layers, and enterprise ontology models.
• Support future Agentic Operations and CMDB Control Tower initiatives.
• Evaluate AWS Bedrock, LLM integrations, and AI workflows.

Technical Governance

• Conduct design reviews.
• Mentor engineering teams.
• Enforce platform engineering standards.
