Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Application Architect to lead the design, architecture, and implementation of scalable ServiceNow solutions. The ideal candidate will drive platform strategy, ensure best practices, and align ServiceNow capabilities with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and design end-to-end architecture for ServiceNow platform implementations
- Lead solution design across modules like ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, HRSD, CSM, and SecOps
- Ensure adherence to ServiceNow best practices, governance, and security standards
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Provide technical leadership to development teams and review code/designs
- Drive platform optimization, performance tuning, and scalability improvements
- Integrate ServiceNow with third-party systems using REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server, etc.
- Manage upgrades, instance strategy, and release management
- Conduct technical workshops and mentor junior developers/consultants
Requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 10+ years of IT experience with at least 7+ years on the ServiceNow platform
- Strong expertise in ServiceNow architecture, data model, and platform capabilities
- Hands-on experience with multiple ServiceNow modules (ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, etc.)
- Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub
- Experience with integrations (REST, SOAP, LDAP, SSO, OAuth)
- Strong understanding of CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping
- Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) highly preferred
- Certified Application Developer (CAD) / Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- Experience in large-scale enterprise implementations
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and DevOps practices
