Job Description

Role: Service Trainer.

Location: Pune

Reporting to: Training Manager

Team Name: Talent Development.

About the team and the Role: Talent development team is responsible for training The Ownership Management team at Ather is responsible for training the service team company-owned and dealer-owned service centers, ensuring they understand EV funct safety protocols, and maintain the brand culture.

This role is for a Service Trainer is the SPOC for the region, managing Role Based training(Service advisor, Service Manager, Floor Incharge, Final Inspector and CRE/CRM) and technical trainers and fine-tuning service delivery to enhance the overall customer experience.

Responsibilities:

Execute Service New Hire, Service advisor, Service Manager, Floor Incharge, Final Inspector and CRE/CRM), Also support in Technical training.

Manage training adherence, attendance, and publish detailed performance and certification reports for new batches.

Oversee Service Training Center operations, including resource allocation, tool up kee and inventory management.

Plan and conduct regular refresher training sessions focused on Running Changes,

Address field queries from local service teams and maintain service bulletins for technical updates.

Experience and Qualifications:

BE, B-tech with 3 years of experience in the automotive industry with a minimum of 2 years as a trainer.

Must Have Competencies:

Expertise in vehicle service training including hands-on experience with automobile, systems, components, and electrical basics.

Knowledge on creating PPT presentations, working on Excel.

Good communication skills English, Hindi and regional languages is added advantage.

Good to Have Competencies:

Capability to optimize service processes to improve overall training quality and operational efficiency.

Ability to collaborate with key stakeholders to refine training content and elevate effectiveness.

Experience in managing technical documentation related to vehicle running changes and CAFV.
