This Position reports to:

Service Manager


Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate in conjunction with the Sales organization and customers throughout the proposal process by preparing technical descriptions of the applied products and technology. Each day, you will determine costs, prepare final documentation, and serve as a key technical resource in the assigned area. You will also showcase your expertise by performing lost proposal analysis, identifying potential cause, and recommending future actions.


The work model for the role is: #LI - Onsite


This role is contributing to the automation in Marine & Ports in the India region. Main stakeholders include vessel operators, port authorities, internal service operations teams, and external service partners or contractors.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Supporting the local Sales organization and customers in determining the most technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions and in the preparation of demanding offers.

  • Preparing / supporting in the preparation of technical/commercial offers based on customer specification requirements, local business/feeder factory indications, and Sales organization directives.

  • Analyzing customer needs and competitor offers through information from general market and the Sales organization.

  • Defining cost for the proposed solution and communicates it to the Sales organization


Qualifications for the role:

  • 6-10 years of f experience in Sales support within the Marine & Port Industry.

  • B.E. in Electrical or Electronic Engineering (or an equivalent technical qualification).

  • Strong technical competence in understanding customer requirements,

  • Hands-on experience collaborating with port authorities, vessel operators, contractors, and internal service teams to ensure smooth service execution.

  • Skilled in communication, time management, and stakeholder engagement, with a solution-oriented and structured approach to delivering service excellence.
