Purpose of the Role:
Working on a 24x7 shift pattern in NOC, Managing Private 5G Network with existing NMS capabilities Shift Engineer will ensure that all Faults are handled within defined SLA, with all processes and procedures are being correctly followed.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Act as First Level escalation point and handle faults related to RF network.
2. Support, proactively manage and monitor services Network
3. Liaise and task Field Engineers to manage and clear both network and customer faults.
4. Maintain MTTR, Response time, RFO and Service reports to the customers as per the KPI
5. Maintain proper documentation, Case history in service tickets.
6. Reduce downtime on customer services by providing workarounds and alternatives.
7. Troubleshoot, diagnose & perform preventive maintenance on RF nodes (eNB,gNB,SMC& Wi-Fi Aps ) and Core elements .
Key Deliverables:
1. First Level Incident Notification, Tracking, Managing, Resolution and closing
2. HW alarms / Incident resolution.
Technical Skills:
1. Good understating on LTE & 5G Access and Core architecture (eNB, gNB, WiFi, Small Cell, MME, S-GW, AMF, UPF, SMF, PCRF) etc.
2. Excellent understanding of Air Interface & Radio technology and Knowledge of Wi-Fi call flows for detailed analysis.
3. Knowledge on LTE & 5G call flow.
4. IP networks experience including MPLS backbone.
5. Hands-on work experience on Access Point/ WLC of WLAN technology / Technical specification 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac
