ole Overview:
A Senior ServiceNow Developer plays a critical role in designing, implementing, and optimizing ServiceNow solutions to meet organizational needs. They guide junior engineers and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver robust applications.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop complex ServiceNow modules, integrations, and workflows.
- Perform advanced ServiceNow configurations, including scripting (Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts).
- Lead system upgrades and enhancements, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Implement and manage integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems or Middleware's or third-party apps.
- Experience on MID servers and its working knowledge.
- Troubleshoot and resolve advanced issues in ServiceNow applications.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
- Ensure compliance with ITSM best practices and organizational policies.
- Experience on various Integrations and flow designer is required.
- Experience on the App Engine Studio or Studio is required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or a related field.
- 68 years of experience in ServiceNow development and administration.
- Deep knowledge of ITSM, ITOM, and other ServiceNow modules.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, AngularJS and web technologies.
- Must be able to drive and do end-to-end implementation of custom application.
- Strong communication skills and stakeholder management experience.
- ServiceNow certifications (e.g., Certified Application Developer, Certified System Administrator, Certified Implementation Specialist - any) will be preferred.
Technical Skills
- ServiceNow scripting modules to support data synchronization and business logic. Creating the Workflows for the catalog items.
- Customizing the forms and implementing the business logic using Business Rules, Client Scripts, and UI Polices.
- Domain separation work experience Release validation & patching experience Customization using Business Rules and Client Scripts.
- Experience AD, LDAP, SSO, Multi SSO configuration is required.
- CMDB and Discovery experience is required along with IRE engine concepts.
- Designs develops configures and customizes when necessary ServiceNow applications and services.
- Delivers new functionality across applications Supports the entire development lifecycle Assists the platform administrator with incident resolution.
- Skills ITSM ITOM GRC ITBM These abilities related to the ServiceNow platform configuration components development environment e g JavaScript API experience Agile methodology CAD.
- Customizing the forms and implementing the business logic using Business Rules, Client Scripts, and UI Polices.
- Domain separation work experience Release validation & patching experience Customization using Business Rules and Client Scripts. Writing various Server-side scripts using Script Includes.
- Creating Various UI Policies and UI actions for alerting a user if a particular action is performed. Used Import sets to extract data from various other sources and field mapping for the same.
