Service Manager Software Development Tools

Location: [Siruseri, Chennai]

CTC: 20 LPA

Role Overview:

We are looking for a Service Manager to take end-to-end ownership of our Software Development Tools service, ensuring governance, operational excellence, and continuous improvement. The role involves managing a large user base, maintaining service performance, and aligning tool operations with business, cost, and risk objectives.

Key Responsibilities / Important Roles:

Oversee service design, delivery, operations, and continuous improvement of SDLC tools (Jira, Confluence, GitHub, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, SharePoint, Microsoft 365).

Ensure SLAs, KPIs, budgeting, risk management, and service continuity are met.

Drive governance, ITIL/SIAM compliance, and operational excellence.

Act as the primary point of escalation and manage stakeholder communication across IT and business teams.

Lead initiatives for service automation, integration, and process optimization.

Required Experience & Skills:

Degree in IT / Business IT or equivalent IT service management experience.

812+ years in Service Manager / Service Delivery Manager / Service Owner roles, preferably for SDLC or tooling platforms.

ITIL Foundation & SIAM Foundation certifications (mandatory).

Proven experience managing complex IT services with a large user base.

Strong skills in SLAs, KPIs, service design, budgeting, risk and continuity planning.

Familiarity with Microsoft 365, ServiceNow, SharePoint, Jira, Confluence.

Excellent English communication, stakeholder management, and analytical thinking.

Experience working in agile teams.
