About the role This role is crucial to make sure Infrastructure meets Business continuity and regulatory requirements and always stays secure. You will work with different Service and Operations leaders and other Technology teams for being successful in this role. You will be responsible to constantly manage the infrastructure risks associated with Infrastructure components like obsolescence / single point of failures, etc. and work with broader Infrastructure teams. You will also be required to maintain a constant communication with the service assurance team and help prioritize the risk related deliverables and making way into the roadmap actions if needed. While delivering all the above, you will ensure that we measure and improve our compliance continuously with focus on stability, aligned with Tesco priorities and driven by value. You will be responsible for: The Risk Manager shall have a proven track record of successful managing and mitigating risks across challenging and complex Technology landscapes. Other responsibilities include the following: Collaborate with and across Tesco Infra verticals to develop and implement plans and conduct investigations/audits to identify and manage any risks that could threaten the firm's essential information. Regulate, anticipate, and comprehend the IT operational threats & vulnerabilities that can compromise a company's image, security, and financial wellbeing within the ITIL standards. Evaluate new or updated industry regulations to ensure continued risk compliance. Do a thorough internal and external investigation/audit for risk assessment of current Tesco IT infra operational affairs and prepare, report, and build a risk evaluation plan for the same. You will be front ending the assessment and audits, working closely with wider infrastructure teams to ensure we are always maintaining risk controls and providing sufficient evidence in required reporting requirements. Participates in business continuity planning (BCP) activities when required by regulation or Senior leadership teams. Prepares reports, business cases, and presentations on risk assessment, controls, the status of compliance efforts, etc. Acts as liaison between IT Infra and other functions (e.g., Legal, HR, Supplier management, Stores) regarding risk management events or security incidents.
