Job Description

We are looking for A Service Engineer is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment or systems at customer sites or within the company. They ensure machines operate efficiently and provide technical support to clients.

Core Responsibilities / Functions

  • Installation & Commissioning
  • Install machinery, equipment, or systems at customer sites
  • Perform testing and commissioning to ensure proper operation
  • Provide initial setup and calibration
  • Maintenance & Servicing
  • Conduct routine preventive maintenance
  • Perform scheduled servicing to avoid breakdowns
  • Maintain service records and logs
  • Troubleshooting & Repairs
  • Diagnose technical issues and faults
  • Repair or replace defective parts
  • Minimize downtime with quick problem resolution
  • Customer Support
  • Provide on-site and remote technical support
  • Explain equipment usage and maintenance to customers
  • Handle customer complaints professionally
  • Documentation & Reporting
  • Prepare service reports and job completion reports
  • Maintain records of repairs, parts used, and service history
  • Report recurring issues to management
  • Spare Parts Management
  • Identify required spare parts
  • Coordinate with inventory/store teams
  • Ensure availability of critical components
  • Compliance & Safety
  • Follow safety protocols while working on equipment
  • Ensure compliance with company and industry standards
  • Training & Demonstration
  • Train clients or operators on machine usage
  • Demonstrate features and maintenance practices
