Roles and Responsibilities

Perform On-Site Equipment Repair

Service engineers respond to service calls in order to perform on-site repairs. They conduct troubleshooting and provide technical support services, such as replacing needed equipment components. A high first time fix rate can mean higher customer satisfaction. Once their work is completed, a service engineer completes service reports, weekly logs, and expense reports.

Revenue Generation :

Responsible for revenue generation from every break down calls like service and Spares Charges and also getting Annual maintenance contract and comprehensive maintenance contract. This shall be achieved through on time service, planned preventive maintenance (PPM) ,maintaining good rapport, fault finding skills of every equipment.

Install New Equipment

A primary responsibility of service engineers is installing new equipment. They are also responsible for assisting in the planning and purchasing of needed equipment. Service engineers work with a customer's technical specifications and evaluate what devices will best meet their needs.

Calibrating Equipment

Service engineers test the function of the equipment by taking detailed accuracy, selectivity, and sensitivity measurements. They calibrate the equipment to ensure overall quality control. Service engineers monitor the equipment to make sure that its performance is in alignment with regulatory requirements.

Perform Preventative Maintenance

Engaging in ongoing preventative maintenance for equipment is a critical task for service engineers. They ensure safe and optimal performance through routine inspections and in-service training with customers. They also coordinate maintenance schedules and quality control checks.

Education: Diploma or Graduate in Electronics or Biomedical engineering. Complete command of English with excellent spoken, reading and writing skills. Knowledge of major regional language is an added advantage

Experience: 2+ years in field Service from company or Hospital
