Job Description Service / Installation Engineer (Chandigarh)

REQUIRED SKILLS

Core Skills

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to verify and interpret technical drawings.
  • Strong site handling and execution skills.
  • Knowledge of RCA (Root Cause Analysis) and FMEA (Failure Modes & Effects Analysis).
  • Customer-oriented approach.
  • Result-oriented mindset aligned with KRAs.

Soft Skills

  • Proficiency in CRM tools.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Familiarity with Power Play (if applicable).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Execute installations and handovers on time, ensuring project closure as per OTE.
  • Provide timely updates to Head Office and customers on site and project status.
  • Resolve customer complaints with proper closure using RCA.
  • Conduct KSP (Knowledge Sharing Programs) including:
  • Installation training
  • Troubleshooting
  • Spares selection
  • Training for SHPL / SP / CP / Authorized Installation Contractors
  • Achieve regional after-sales business targets as per KRA.
  • Ensure closure of warranty and non-warranty service tickets within defined OTD timelines.
  • Conduct performance audits and campaigns for supplied products.
  • Work toward achieving targeted after-sales revenue aligned with organizational goals.
  • Minimize QAR and reduce cost of poor quality (including FOC supplies).
