Roles and Responsibilities:
- Work with key stakeholders to build business expansion strategies and growth plans.
- Review current integration strategies and goals to identify potential strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for improvement.
- Build capabilities for the Clinical & Revenue Cycle Applications - Interoperability Team on Rhapsody/Corepoint, InterSystems HealthShare, Azure/cloud & supporting technologies.
- Define goals, career progression planning, skill evaluation, individual development plans, resource management, and team building activities.
- Support technical architects in defining integration solutions and technology roadmaps.
- Train talent and build a high-performance culture.
- Establish SLAs, KPIs, and recommend measurement and improvement of processes.
- Drive modernization initiatives across the healthcare interoperability domain.
- Ensure successful completion of the committed backlog in accordance with business priorities and KPIs.
- Facilitate collaboration with peers and cross-functional teams to identify common business cases and define plans for new engineering solutions.
- Coordinate with internal teams, external suppliers, and consultants to ensure timely delivery.
- Possess a fundamental understanding of end-to-end application/system/device integration and dependencies.
- Solve ambiguous, undefined problems that go beyond product/service boundaries.
- Translate vision into processes and requirements to meet complex business needs.
- Identify scrum and cross-functional team dependency issues and establish milestone exit criteria.
- Engage with leadership and stakeholders to validate priorities and scope.
Skills Required:
- Strong understanding of healthcare interoperability standards and integration frameworks
- Hands-on experience with API integration and continuous integration pipelines
- Experience working with integration engines like Rhapsody, Corepoint, Mirth, Cloverleaf, or InterSystems HealthShare
- Knowledge of HL7, FHIR, and healthcare data exchange standards
- Understanding of end-to-end system integration architecture
- Experience in CI/CD processes and integration automation
- Strong problem-solving skills in complex distributed systems
- Ability to work with cross-functional and global stakeholders
- Experience in defining SLAs, KPIs, and operational metrics
- Strong leadership, coordination, and stakeholder management skills
- Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure preferred) and hybrid integration environments
- Ability to mentor teams and drive engineering best practices
Education: B.Tech or B.E. in Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, or Computer Science
