Job Description
Growloc Pvt Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Electrical Service Engineer- Intern to join our dynamic team. This role will involve providing on-site service, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical equipment and systems to our valued clients.
Key Responsibilities
- On-site Service and Maintenance:
- Perform preventative maintenance checks and repairs on a variety of electrical equipment, including but not limited to:
- Motors, generators, transformers, switchgear, control panels, relay and smps wiring, controller wiring,
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical faults using appropriate diagnostic tools.
- Conduct field repairs and replacements of components as needed.
- Ensure all work is performed safely and in accordance with relevant electrical safety standards and regulations.
- Customer Interaction:
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
Provide excellent customer service, including clear and concise communication regarding service updates, troubleshooting, and recommendations.
Address customer concerns promptly and professionally.
Provide technical support to clients over the phone or remotely.
Assist with system upgrades and installations.
Document all service activities accurately and completely in company records.
Travel to customer sites within and outside of Pune as required (approximately 40% travel time).
Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Assist with the development and improvement of service procedures and documentation.
Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance and repair.
- Strong understanding of electrical principles, including AC/DC circuits, power distribution, and control systems.
- Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting (preferred).
- Knowledge of relevant electrical safety standards (e.g., NEC, IEC).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
