We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Service Desk Engineer to join our team in Hyderabad. This entry-level position is ideal for freshers looking to start their career in IT support. The successful candidate will provide essential first-line technical support to our users, ensuring that IT issues are resolved efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line support for IT issues and incidents reported by users via phone, email, or ticketing system.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues for desktop and laptop systems.
• Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software applications, and hardware components.
• Ensure timely resolution of incidents and service requests while adhering to service level agreements (SLAs).
• Maintain documentation of support processes, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve complex issues and improve service delivery.
• Participate in training and development programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge.

Skills and Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Windows and macOS operating systems.
• Basic knowledge of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Familiarity with common software applications (Microsoft Office, antivirus software, remote desktop tools).
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Customer-focused mindset with a positive attitude.
