We are a passionate team who guide clients to use our cutting edge architecture by modernizing their existing applications. Simply put, we modernize our clients. We work closely with clients and provide technical guidance, solutions to complex issues, retrofit the on-prem deployments to fit in our Pega Cloud architecture so our Clients can benefit from leveraging latest Pega features and Keeping current as part of the as-a-service initiative. We are fun and on constantly on steep learning curve. Apart from providing technical guidance on Modernization, we use our experience from the client engagements to build tools that helps clients with modernization assessment around the gaps, estimation.

What You'll Do At Pega

70% Customer/Client Engagement

Handle Customer/Client relationships by handling their questions and concerns with speed and professionalism

Provide technical assistance and expertise in upgrade/migration projects during the modernization journey

Provide inputs to improve client experience during the modernization journey

Diagnose and identify the root cause, solve problems by proposing / assist in implementing the solutions

10% Application development

Develop new enhancements in existing automation tools used in the modernization journey

Identify gaps and areas of improvements in the existing tools and provide solutions to make it a better product

Strong desire to build quality solutions

10% Skill development & technology learning

Self-learning and knowledge sharing with the team in new technology developments related to Pegasystems product suite

Keep abreast of latest features that Pega has to offer

10% Collaboration with internal teams, Innovation

Work with different teams, stakeholders and effectively build a strong interpersonal network

Work as part of a collaborative Agile team working in a SCRUM model

Ability to collaborate with the Product Owner to understand use cases and effectively articulate design ideas to satisfy use cases

What You've Accomplished

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or related technical discipline
  • 5-7 years of professional experience
  • 3+ years Pega Consulting experience - preferred
  • CSSA minimum certification
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, leadership and poise in pressurized situations
  • Strong teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate with other groups
  • Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to interact directly with customers at a technical level
  • Ability to gain in-depth knowledge of existing and new Pega products and services
  • Initiative and positive attitude
  • Professional, organized, efficient and accurate
  • Tenacity, drive and the desire to succeed in a fast-paced environment
  • Resourceful and creative troubleshooting skills

Additional Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of AWS, PCF, GCP
  • Knowledge of J2EE architecture and application servers (Websphere, Weblogic, Tomcat, or JBOSS)
  • Knowledge of database administration (Oracle, Postgres)
  • Knowledge and experience with Javascript, SQL, and CSS/HTML
  • Knowledge of Operating Systems (specifically Windows, Linux)
  • Knowledge of Communication protocols and technologies (SOAP, MQ, JMS)
